Forensic Report on the Shooting of Charlie Kirk Date of Incident: September 10, 2025 Location: Utah Valley University, Orem, Utah Subject: Charlie Kirk (deceased) Suspect: Tyler James Robinson --- 1.0 Autopsy and Cause of Death An autopsy was performed on Charlie Kirk by the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner (OME) in the early hours following his death on September 10, 2025¹ ⁴. The immediate cause of death was a gunshot wound to the neck¹ ². During the autopsy, bullet fragments were recovered from Kirk's body. Specifically, a deformed jacket fragment and multiple lead fragments were collected¹ ⁷. These fragments were subsequently sent to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for forensic examination¹ ⁷. The complete autopsy report remains confidential under Utah statute (26B-8-217) and is not a public record. It is limited to authorized parties such as next of kin, law enforcement, and legal counsel¹ ² ³. The report was entered into evidence (Exhibit 11) during Tyler Robinson's preliminary hearing in July 2026, but it was not published in open court² ⁹.
